ROCK Hill, S.C. — A man was charged after an explosion happened in a motel room while he was trying to cook meth on Sunday.
Authorities charged Ronnie Kenneth Brady, 35, with manufacturing methamphetamine after an explosion occurred in motel room while he was cooking meth around 1 a.m. Sunday.
The Rock Hill police and fire departments responded to the Rock Hill Motel off of Riverview Road after a fire in one of the rooms.
Officials said the explosion had set beds and a television on fire in the room. Police were able to track down Brady after he fled the scene right after the explosion happened.
This is the third time Brady has been caught cooking meth, according to authorities.
