ROCK HILL, S.C. — A Rock Hill man is in trouble with police after he allegedly spanked his girlfriend’s children with a shovel, and held a knife to their sides.

The Rock Hill Herald reports that 25-year-old Keyron Jamario Hemphill is charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

He was arrested Saturday night for the incident that police say happened over the Christmas holiday.

The children involved are 7, 9 and 11 years of age.

The mother told authorities she didn’t know anything about the incidents.
