Rock Hill man cited on prostitution charge at Myrtle Beach

A Rock Hill man was cited Thursday after he told police officers in Myrtle Beach that he was “out looking for prostitutes,” according to police report.

James Mullinix Sr., 62, is charged with loitering for prostitution after a traffic stop at 2 p.m. near Flagg Street and 3rd Avenue North, the report shows.

Police reported that they saw Mullinix circling the area near Chester and Flagg streets for more than 20 minutes “with no apparent destination.”
