A Rock Hill pastor was arrested Sunday after police say he threatened to kill his wife and throw her body in the river. The Rev. Kevin Graham McCurry, pastor of Faith, Hope and Love Ministries at 238 E. Black St., was charged with criminal domestic violence, according to a Rock Hill Police report. On Sunday, officers went to the McCurry home after dispatchers received a 911 hang-up. McCurry’s wife, who is not named in the police report, told police McCurry, 35, threatened to kill her and throw her body in the river. The wife told police multiple times that she was afraid for her life. McCurry told police he did not threaten his wife, the report states. In an interview with The Herald, McCurry said the allegations were false and he would “beat it” in court. “I didn’t threaten her; it’s a lie,” he said. McCurry has been an ordained minister for eight years, according to the church’s website.
