ROCK HILL — Two people say their cars were damaged when someone threw objects at their vehicles while they were driving in Rock Hill.
Around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, a 61-year-old Rock Hill woman was driving on Dave Lyle Boulevard under the Oakland Avenue bridge when someone threw an unknown object at her from above, according to a Rock Hill police report. The item hit the roof and caused about $1,000 in damage. The woman believes it was a juvenile who threw the object.
Around 10:30 p.m., a 51-year-old Rock Hill man was driving in the 1200 block of East White Street when someone threw a rock at his vehicle. The rock smashed the windshield of his 2005 Nissan. The damage was estimated at $200.
Suspects have not been identified.
Police have not said if the cases are related.
