ROCK HILL — A Rock Hill mother is accused of stabbing her son in the chest with a grilling fork.
Rock Hill Police arrived at 433 Hall Street around 10:30 p.m. Thursday to find Paul Mobley, 21, holding his chest and bleeding, according to a Rock Hill police report. He said his mother stabbed him.
Police arrested Denise Mobley, 44, and charged her with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, the report states.
Denise Mobley told officers her son hit her over the head with a plastic chair before she stabbed him with a two-prong fork. Police weren’t able to locate the weapon because Mobley’s boyfriend “threw the fork somewhere after the incident,” the report states.
